The Main Differences between the Regency and Chiltern Radiator Cabinets.
The main difference in the styling of each cabinet relates to the skirting board detail. You’ll notice on the image below, the skirting board returns around the side of the Chiltern cabinet. Some customers don’t like two different skirting board details meeting and opt for the Regency on that basis.
You will notice the Regency Radiator Cabinet has extra upright stiles, which the skirting detail buts up against. This detail doubles the thickness of the front panel, creating a much heavier and thicker-set cabinet. This thicker-set detail means the Regency can look better proportionally on larger radiators, over 150cm’s wide.
